Bihar News: People were stunned by a horrific road accident in Aurangabad, Bihar on Tuesday morning. A speeding car went off the road and fell into the Son canal. All five people in the car died due to this accident.

A speeding car fell into the Son canal in Daudnagar, Aurangabad on Tuesday. People reached the spot after hearing a loud sound at the time of the accident, but could not find out where the car went. By the time the car was pulled out of the water, five people in the car had drowned and died. All the deceased are said to be residents of Patna. The age of four youths would be around 35 to 40 years, while among the dead was a 16-year-old minor. The deceased are said to be residents of Rajiv Nagar, Patna. Detailed identity has not been revealed yet.

The incident took place near Chaman Bigha on the canal road of Daudnagar police station area of Aurangabad district. All the passengers in a car died when the car lost balance and fell into Patna Main Son Canal. It is not known for sure when the car fell. Some people are saying that they heard a sound, but could not identify it when they went closer. Later, when the local villagers saw the car in the canal, they informed the police. When the car was taken out, no one was found alive inside. Police confirmed that five people in the car had died. Police have taken out the bodies of the dead and sent them to the district headquarters. Till the time of sending the news, the dead could not be identified. From their clothes, it seems that all the dead must have been returning after worshipping somewhere. Three have saffron clothes on their bodies. BDO Md. Zafar Imam, CO Shailendra Kumar Yadav, SHO Faheem Azad Khan have reached the spot with their team. The SHO said that prima facie information has been received that four of the deceased are residents of Rajiv Nagar in Patna and the driver is from Ara. Efforts are being made to contact the family members.
